It’s the middle of January, in Toronto, and it’s not been raining for 2 days. Highly unnatural for it to be so warm that it rains, but it’s been over 0 degrees (celsius) for the last week or so. The rain never puts me in a “going out” mood, so I spent most of the day packing boxes and playing music. Most of my stuff is already packed and I’m moving in 12 days… Talk about over-preparation.
I ate a bunch of random leftovers while packing, the latkes I made on day 6 with homemade apple sauce, chicken noodle soup, and apples with peanut butter.
Being it was one of the grossest days outside, I didn’t go to my usual cafe in the morning and I did not do any groceries. Instead I sifted through my freezer and fridge to start concocting a last minute dinner. I wrote about my lemon veggie and shrimp pasta experiment here, with the option to make it vegetarian.
After dinner we watched a movie and went to bed. I guess I was pretty exhausted from packing, even though I felt like I had done nothing all day. The only piece of waste I made was the plastic bag the frozen shrimp came in, that I bought pre-challenge.

One plastic bag of shrimp.
Day 10: One piece of waste.
